Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, provide a better user experience, and supply information to website operators.

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies YugoDMS uses, why we use them, and how you can manage your cookie preferences.

2. How We Use Cookies

YugoDMS uses cookies primarily for essential platform functionality. As a B2B SaaS application, our cookie usage is minimal and focused on authentication, security, and core features. We do not currently use advertising or marketing cookies.

3. Types of Cookies We Use

3.1 Essential Cookies (Strictly Necessary)

These cookies are required for the Service to function properly. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality. No consent is required for essential cookies under GDPR/ePrivacy regulations.

3.3 Analytics Cookies

YugoDMS does not currently use any third-party analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics). We collect usage analytics server-side through application logs, which do not require cookies.

If we introduce analytics cookies in the future, we will update this policy and obtain your consent where required by law.

3.4 Third-Party Cookies

The following third-party services may set cookies when you use specific features of the Service:

4. How to Manage Cookies

4.1 Browser Settings

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically:

  • View what cookies are stored on your device
  • Delete individual cookies or all cookies
  • Block cookies from specific websites or all websites
  • Set your browser to notify you when a cookie is being set

Instructions for managing cookies in common browsers:

4.2 Impact of Disabling Cookies

Please note that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from using the Service, as authentication and security features depend on them. Specifically:

  • Session cookies disabled: You will not be able to log in or maintain an authenticated session.
  • CSRF cookies disabled: Form submissions and API requests will be rejected as a security measure.
  • Functional cookies disabled: Your preferences (theme, sidebar state) will reset on each visit but the Service will still function.
  • Third-party cookies disabled: Address autocomplete may not work correctly, but all other features will continue to function.

4.3 Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. Since YugoDMS does not use tracking or advertising cookies, this setting has no practical effect on our Service. We do not track users across third-party websites.

5. Local Storage and Similar Technologies

In addition to cookies, YugoDMS may use browser local storage and session storage for:

  • Caching form data to prevent loss during accidental navigation
  • Storing UI preferences (collapsed panels, selected views, table column widths)
  • Maintaining draft content (unsaved deal worksheets, communication drafts)
  • Storing authentication tokens for API requests

Local storage data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless explicitly required (e.g., authentication tokens sent in API headers). You can clear local storage through your browser's developer tools or settings.

6. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. We will post any updates on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If we begin using new categories of cookies (such as analytics or advertising cookies), we will notify you and obtain consent where required.
